Why browser-based?
Most file tools upload your files to a server. We think that's a bad default.
Processing happens inside your browser tab using the Canvas API and WebAssembly. Nothing is transmitted to any server — ever.
No upload queue. No waiting for a server to process your file. Conversion starts the moment you drop a file and finishes in seconds.
Load the page once, then disconnect from the internet. The tools keep working. Try it — disconnect WiFi and convert an image right now.

Common questions
Modern browsers ship with powerful APIs — the Canvas API, Web Workers, and WebAssembly — that let us run image processing and file conversion directly in your browser tab. No server ever sees your files. You can verify this yourself: open DevTools → Network tab and watch: no file upload traffic.
Correct. We have no backend, no database, and no analytics scripts that track individuals. The only data stored locally is your theme preference (light/dark), which lives in localStorage on your device. We don't set tracking cookies.
The core tools are free and will remain free. We may add optional paid features or tasteful, privacy-respecting ads in the future — but we'll never paywall basic functionality, and we'll never add trackers. We'll be transparent about any changes.
You don't have to — that's the point of our architecture. Because no files are uploaded, you can verify our privacy claims yourself. Disconnect your internet connection and try converting a file. It works. That's proof, not a promise.
